The woods

"I had to go into the woods. And I wasn't afraid at all. Until..."
When a boy can't find his favourite stuffed bunny, he bravely heads into the woods to search for it... and discovers a big, scary brown bear instead! But he learns that the bear is just lonely, so he promises to share his night-light, and the two forge on together, until... they run into two scary giants! As the boy continues his search, he comes across other seemingly scary creatures, but finds that, like him, they're just looking for some comfort and security before bedtime.

A story about the comfort of companionship and the courage it takes to help a stranger, this sweet picture book will remind readers of all ages that being afraid of the dark doesn't mean you have to afraid alone.
