Favona Primary School students and teachers had the privilege of having Melinda Szymanik come and visit on the 1st July 2013 through 'Writers in Schools'  -- New Zealand Book Council.
 

Melinda talked to students about her ideas for the books she wrote and shared basic writing tips. Melinda also shared some of her stories she wrote to the students.
