Lucy Goosey

The time had come for all the geese to fly away to another country. Lucy Goosey stared up at the sky. It was vast. Never-ending. 'I'm not going!' she said, and off she ran on her flippy flappy feet. 'Come back, Lucy Goosey,' called her mother, 'or you'll get left behind.' 'Don't care,' honked Lucy Goosey.
Lucy Goosey doesn't' want to leave the pond, even if it means being left behind. But when Lucy Goosey finds herself all alone, she must make a brave decision. Is it more terrifying to be alone, or to face one's greatest fear?
This is a heart-warming story about a child's fear of the unknown, and how a mother's unconditional love can make anything possible.
